a morning ramble

and long ago with nothing at all

unable to feel i became quite small

and as this world brought me down

i just kept looking all around

with nothing left for me to find

i've picked up all you've left behind

now just as i thought i would

the emptiness came with abit of good

as freedom swept on though

all the days i had i loved you

they all seemed so wrong

i thought you loved me all along

but away you went

you took all the love i had lent

with nothing else for me to give

i gave you my heart that let me live

and took it you did with open hands

but still i don't sit where you stand

if only one more day you were near

i could give you my ship, let you steer

then as far away as we can go

and only then i would let you know

all i really want to do

is tell you how much i do love you

ill leave the love in my heart

and with the depth of your stare

your still as the ocean with not a care

and in the simplest ways

i would like to spend my days

to float in the sea

nothing there but you and me

as i think of these days

im reminded of your loving gaze

and if only i could

be with you i would

so lets get on our way

n float around till we forget the day

sacred music

we went on down to the sacred place

it brought some joy to my sorrowed face

i thought of all the things i see

made me wish you were here with me

such a pleasant silent night

if only you here would make it right

but gone you are so far away

i think i'll have to wait just one more day

don't keep me waiting for to long

cuz just like you i may be gone
